PRAYER REQUESTS:
- Meeting Neighbors - pray for all of us as we meet our new neighbors. So far, we already have some good relationships. Our desire is to be the best neighbors we can be and, if given the chance, the best friends we can be. We know that along the way, the Spirit will give us divine appointments to talk about Jesus and His gospel.
- A Job for Michael Brinkley - Michael is still searching for a job to support his family. He has several possibilities, but nothing has yet materialized. The Brinkleys are temporarily living with the Olsons until Michael has an income and can afford a rental home or mortgage.
- A Job for John Kimball - John's job with the CCCC changes on January 1. The Kimballs' health benefits also end on December 31. Between that and the needs of Palmwood Church, he is looking for a job that will provide a supplemental income and benefits. The new church will not be self-supporting for at least three years. Pray that John is able to find something soon so that their family financial needs will not distract him from the church plant.
- New Relationships - We have already dealt with some illness here. Pray that all of our families can find physicians, dentists and other providers soon so that those relationships are in place when they are needed.
- Fund Raising - Several of us on the team have already spoken to individuals, churches and made presentations about Palmwood Church. The response in each case has been wonderful -- and we have raised up a large number of covenant intercessors -- but the actual funding from those presentations has been low. We have pledges from some people and have had some special gifts from others. Praise God for this provision. Please pray on our behalf for provision.
