Q: Are there certain times that construction workers should and should not be working?

A: Per The City of Lone tree website "Exterior construction shall be limited to the hours of 7:00 am to 7:00 pm on Monday through Friday, and shall be limited to the hours of 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturday, Sunday and state legal holidays. Interior construction shall be limited to the hours of 7:00 am to 9:00 pm."

If you observe construction workers not adhering to those times, you may notify Celebrity at 303-792-7357 or the City of Lone Tree Building Division at 720-390-5211 and provide them with the specific location.
STOP SPEEDING IN THE HIDDEN HILL AREA
The HOA Board continues to get numerous complaints regarding speeding in the Hidden Hill area especially on
S. Hidden Hill Place. Please slow down and watch for children and other residents!

STREET PARKING
No vehicle of any kind may be parked in the street overnight.
Not only are other residents finding this irritating, but it will become even more of a nuisance as our streets are repaired. As documented in the letter to all Heritage Hills residents from the Metro District, "vehicles parked on the street the day of the street work will be towed at the vehicle owner's expense."

UNDERAGE CHILDREN NEED TO STOP DRIVING GOLF CARTS IN HERITAGE HILLS
We continue to get reports regarding golf carts driven by underage children.
Golf Cart Owners: Please follow the rules you agreed to when you registered your golf cart, "Drivers must have a valid driver's license or driver's permit valid in the State of Colorado".

DESIGN REVIEW REQUEST
PROCESS CHANGE
Effective immediately, only Design Review Requests for Existing Homes submitted by the 15th of the month will be reviewed that same month. Residents will be contacted with either Committee follow-up questions or the Committee's decision that same month.

As in the past, the more information and pictures provided the quicker the Committee can make a decision. Also, the Committee will work with the owner not the owner's contractor to resolve any issues with the project.
Directory
HERITAGE HILLS DIRECTORY
Watch for an email in August with details on a new
Heritage Hills Directory.

We will need at least 100 residents (separate house addresses) to ask to be included in the Directory to move forward with the project.

GardenGARDENING
DEAD HEADING FLOWERS

Both annuals and perennials should be dead headed (cutting off spent blossoms) on a regular basis throughout the growing season.  Dead heading will keep the plants looking good as they continue to put their energy into producing more flowers.  When dead heading perennials let a few flowers go to seed so the seeds can be gathered and planted the following spring.

"HOW TO WAKE UP IN A GOOD MOOD"
Excerpt from: Science of People: 7 Ways Science Can Make You Happier, Smarter and More Successful  found on scienceofpeople.com
  • How do you sleep? Most people have no idea that their position affects their mood.
    • on your back
    • curled up in the fetal position
    • on your stomach
    • Always different
40% of people sleep in the fetal position! Researchers have found that this position is adopted by highly emotional and sensitive people-more than twice as many women sleep in this position compared to men! However, when we take up less space we feel less capable. When you stretch in the morning, it can help produce hormones to get your energy higher. Try a more expansive position or stretch before getting up.
