Dear HH Expert,

My kids are so excited for the pool to open in a few weeks. I would like to get them into some swim lessons as soon as possible. Are there lessons available at the Heritage Hills pool or could I have an instructor come to us?

- Pool Neighbor

Dear Pool Neighbor,

Swimming lessons are available at the Heritage Hills pools through Perfect Pools.  Please call 303.795.1191 once pools are open to schedule your lessons. If there are any problems setting up your lessons, please contact the Community Manager Kim Herman. If you are interested in specialty lessons with your own instructor, that will need to be arranged offsite.

- HH Expert

Dear HH Expert,

We believe there is an opening in the brick wall at the end of our street (E. Star Hill Trail) where the coyotes are entering the neighborhood from the ravine. We lost our small dog to a coyote last summer and see them in our yard constantly during all hours of the day and night. I don't want to lose my other dog or endanger my grandkids when they are playing in our backyard.  Is it possible for our neighborhood to close this opening in the wall to prevent them from entering through there?

- Coyote Control

Dear Coyote Control,

Due to the close proximity to the South Suburban open space and the increased building in the area, there has been an increase in coyotes. The Community is happy to look into the rock wall in question. It is best to contact animal control if coyotes are seen or a pet is believed to be missing due to a coyote.

MEET YOUR NEIGHBORS...THE BRUNNICKS

Introducing Leo, Cathie, Daniel (15), Jacob (11), Anna (11), and Macklin (10).  Their full house also includes 2 siamese cats, Mia and Magellan.

This May marks their 8 year anniversary in Heritage Hills. Leo is from Boston and Cathie is from California originally. They met in Austin, Texas and are loving living in Colorado. After successful careers in the technology industry, they decided to start their own company in 2008. Leo and Cathie are the founders the world's largest media website on Religion and Spirituality.  Their offices are located in the Tech Center and are grateful to be so close to the office on a daily basis.

With the typical busy schedule of a family with teens and tweens, most days are filled with work, school, sporting events and kid's activities.  They spend a lot of time in the car!!  With a cross country runner, a baseball and basketball player, a volleyball player and another baseball player..... They watch a lot of kid's sports!

In their spare time, Leo loves to play golf and Cathie is an avid tennis player and is currently the President of the Lone Tree Arts Center Guild.  Cathie is so grateful for all the women of Heritage Hills who are active in the Guild and doing so many great things to further the Arts in Lone Tree.

Now that it's getting warm, you will find them on the tennis courts, in the pool, drinking wine on the back patio, hiking the bluffs and seeing as many outdoor shows as possible.

They had a 3am outdoor fire at their home last September, and were so grateful for the amazing Lone Tree Firefighters who were able to get things under control quickly.  They lost their outdoor grilling island - but gratefully there was limited damage to the home.  The backyard was renovated over the winter so they are enjoying their new grill area and hot tub!
