While the parkway will be open to traffic April 30, toll collection will begin June 1.
The E-PASS sticker is FREE to Osceola County residents. Go to GetEpass.com to sign-up and begin saving time and money.
PARTNER UPDATE

As part of FDOT's I-4 Ultimate project, the Orange Avenue ramp to westbound SR 408 is closed. Detour signs lead drivers to the new ramp located at Division Avenue, just south of Anderson Street. For details and additional information, visit the I-4 Ultimate website.

TRUTH ABOUT TOLLS

Electronic tolling (using E-PASS instead of cash) allows you to reach your destination faster without having to stop at toll plazas. E-PASS customers also save an average of 23% on tolls.

DRAFT 2040 MASTER PLAN

After months of preparation and extensive community outreach, the CFX team presented the draft 2040 Master Plan. This will be the first Master Plan for CFX. It will serve as a guide for future decisions and actions and sets parameters for agency policies. The 2040 Master Plan identifies specific project needs within the existing CFX system as well as potential expansion projects within the Central Florida region. When the plan is completed, it will serve as the basis for the annual updates of the CFX Five-Year Work Plan. The current draft of the 2040 Master Plan shows an estimated deficit of up to $5.6 billion between the total identified and potential project needs in the region and CFX's estimated financial capacity to support project development. The final plan will be presented to the board in May for adoption.
SR 408 EASTERN EXTENSION PROJECT DEVELOPMENT AND ENVIRONMENTAL STUDY WORKSHOP

In April 2015, CFX began studying a possible extension of SR 408 from SR 50 (Colonial Drive) to the SR 50/SR 520 intersection in East Orange County. On March 8, the CFX team held a public workshop, giving community members an opportunity to learn about the Project Development and Environmental (PD&E) Study being conducted for the proposed extension. Nearly 180 attendees reviewed maps and drawings, and were able to comment on the potential projects developed for the PD&E Study.

WEKIVA PARKWAY UPDATE

Another section of CFX's portion of the Wekiva Parkway will begin construction in May. This past month, the CFX Board approved GLF Construction to build the north-west leg of the parkway from the Lake County Line to SR 46 toward Mount Dora. Currently 3 of the 5 CFX sections are underway with the completions anticipated by early 2018. For the latest developments on the project visit WekivaParkway.com.
