YOUR TOLL DOLLARS
AT WORK

To relieve congestion and improve safety, we're making improvements to the 429/535 interchange located in west Orange County.

This project will add an additional travel lane to the southbound 429 off ramp to 535/ Stoneybrook West Parkway and will resurface about a half mile of southbound 429 near the interchange.

Work is scheduled to begin on Monday, August 17 and finish in March 2016.
E-PASS SWAP UPDATE

YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED

Q: Do CFX toll dollars stay local?

A: Yes! The benefit of having a locally controlled tolling agency like ours is that your toll dollars are reinvested here in the Central Florida community. The money you spend on our system is used to build, operate and maintain CFX-owned roads.

EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT

Alan has been one of our Road Rangers since 2005, and works the 528 route. If you need assistance on the expressways, dial *FHP (*347). Road Rangers are available Monday-Friday from 6 AM - 8 PM.

What do you like most about your job?

On the 528, I get to help people from different places around the world. Most of them can't believe we offer this service for free. Drivers are always happy to see us and I've had the opportunity to teach many people how to change a tire for the first time.

How many times do you drive the 528 in one shift?

I usually make about 3 round trips a day on the 31-mile stretch. I'll make about 10-14 assists each shift.

Do you have any helpful tips for drivers?

Check the air in your spare tire as often as you check your oil. Most people don't realize their spare tire is flat until they need it. Having a small air compressor in your trunk is always helpful in an emergency.
