This Sunday's Message: "Everyday Missions"
Matthew 22:34-40

This is the way I am telling the story. "On our trip to New Mexico this summer, I felled my first antelope." Impressive, right? Does it conjure up a picture of me in camouflage clothing, holding a 30.06 while crouching next.....

AUMC Welcomes Guest Pastor Rev. Laraine Waughtal
|
This Sunday, June 26, Aledo United Methodist Church welcomes Rev. Laraine Waughtal, who will be preaching for the vacationing Lee Trigg. Laraine is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church. She served churches in the Central Texas Conference, including Morgan Mill UMC and Bluffdale UMC, before being appointed as Coordinator of Disaster Response and United Methodist Volunteers in Mission for the Central Texas Conference in February 2015. In that role Laraine, works with churches throughout the conference, helping them serve as the hands and feet of Christ in communities affected by tornadoes, flooding, etc., and also helps those churches connect with the larger mission work of the United Methodist Church. Laraine lives in Aledo and, when she is not on the road, is part of the worshiping family at Aledo UMC.
