COST & INFO: The closing of Crystal Lake's year-long centennial will offer fun activities for the whole family with music, dance, crafts, food vendors and cupcakes as part of the birthday celebration. There will be a variety of entertainment, such as a face-painter, a balloon artist and more. Performers include Hip Hop Explosion, comedian Mike Toomey mind reader and magician Joe Diamond and Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos. Lego master builder David Howard of Crystal Lake will demonstrate his skills and work with children in the Raue Center lobby. MONTINI FAMILY MUSIC FESTIVAL

COST & INFO: Hosted by the Montini Catholic School in McHenry to honor veterans and first responders. There will be children's activities, a first responder car show, live entertainment, food and drinks. Bands performing include Serendipity, Hans and the Hormones, Libido Funk Circus and Modern Day Romeos. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project & the McHenry VFW.
