Are you a New Resident? In the previous format of this newsletter, we used to "introduce" new residents and tell a little about them. I have had a request to reinstate this feature. We have had a lot of new residents move into the valley in the past two years. If you would like to be "introduced" in this way, please send me a little information (suggestions would be - family member names, which house you bought, where you moved from, if you have kids, pets, interests, etc.) to troutvalleynews@gmail.com. It is a nice way to get to know your neighbors.
Thanks, Vernie Vadnais *************************************

New Contact Information for Bernie in Maintenance
We've had a lot of problems in the past with Bernie's cell phone. The phone service was poor at best, and many of his emails and text messages were not getting through in a timely manner. We originally were going to switch using his old phone number, but that proved impossible. Ditto with his email address.

Blast versus Newsletter?
We've recently had questions and requests for sending out email blasts to Trout Valley residents. These have included blasts for charitable donations and open houses. Most community information can be circulated in the weekly newsletter. The blasts are reserved for important and time-sensitive information. We want residents to know that when they receive a blast, they should read it as soon as they can, as it is something of concern for the community.
When we reject a blast request, we are trying to balance the need to communicate effectively and quickly with Trout Valley against the rights of the residents not to be overwhelmed with local messages. If we don't send out a lot of blasts, we hope those we do send get your attention. We appreciate your consideration.
Thanks, Bob Baker
