Pet News
Last month, Linda DeBruler's 17 year-old dog, Bob, passed away, while the Somers family said good-bye to both their dogs, Rufus (17) and Shep (12).
If one of your beloved pets passes away, please contact Ann Somers at acs181@aol.com to have the pet removed from the Trout Valley Pet Directory. If you would like an announcement of your pet's death put in the newsletter, you can either let Ann know, or contact Vernie Vadnais directly at troutvalleynews@gmail.com. We are happy to add any new pets to the directory, as well. It helps to have current directory information when a pet is lost or found in the valley. Thanks, Ann Somers

Tennis Club News
Saves These Dates
The Trout Valley Tennis Club has been a vibrant part of Trout Valley for 41 years, because tennis is a sport that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. The courts were resurfaced last year, and continue to offer a picturesque setting where you never have to wait for a court! Many of our residents have benefitted by becoming members of the club, by taking lessons from a pro, or by participating in fun, social events that the club has offered. The major renovation took place last year, but resealing and other upkeep is needed to keep the courts beautiful. Two fundraising events are back by popular demand:
Trout Valley "Roll for the Roses" Bunco Night!

Mark your calendars, invite your friends & your spouse, & look for the reg. form in the April editions of the newsletter.
*The Tennis Club is looking for new items to be donated for the raffle*

New Contact Information for Bernie in Maintenance
We've had a lot of problems in the past with Bernie's cell phone. The phone service was poor at best, and many of his emails and text messages were not getting through in a timely manner. We originally were going to switch using his old phone number, but that proved impossible. Ditto with his email address.

Blast versus Newsletter?
We've recently had questions and requests for sending out email blasts to Trout Valley residents. These have included blasts for charitable donations and open houses. Most community information can be circulated in the weekly newsletter. The blasts are reserved for important and time-sensitive information. We want residents to know that when they receive a blast, they should read it as soon as they can, as it is something of concern for the community.
When we reject a blast request, we are trying to balance the need to communicate effectively and quickly with Trout Valley against the rights of the residents not to be overwhelmed with local messages. If we don't send out a lot of blasts, we hope those we do send get your attention. We appreciate your consideration.
Thanks, Bob Baker
