Cary Village Board Waives Building Permit Fees for Storm Damaged Properties

(from the Cary News Weekly)

Due to the unprecedented rain event that took place on June 26, 2013, the Cary Village Board has issued a waiver of building permit fees for properties impacted by the storm.

"The residents and businesses of Cary need to begin repairs to their property as quickly as possible and the Village Board wants to expedite the process for those affected by this storm," stated Mayor Mark Kownick.

Permits may be obtained over the counter at Village Hall, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, provided that contractors applying for the permits are registered with the Village and provide basic information regarding the work to be performed.  Residents are encouraged to contact Village staff at 847.639.1100 to determine if a permit is required.
