8th Grade Graduation Party for 2013
It is time to plan the party!
We need to know if you have an 8th grade student graduating this year, we have to pick a date and reserve the lodge ASAP. If we are lucky, we can still get the tent from Algonquin Township. Due to everyone's busy schedules and the fact that we have multiple schools dances and graduation dates to consider, we had better pick a date and get a count of kids fast. It is only a few months away!!!!!
Please e-mail Kate Barrett at
k-barrett@comcast.net or call 847-712-2141, if you have an 8th grade student. ALL PARENTS NEED TO PARTICIPATE. This is for our kids. Let's have a quick meeting and pick a date.
Task List :
How many kids?
Pick a date
Reserve lodge / tent
Invitations, food, decorations, music, activities etc..........

More Information
River Road becomes one-way when it snows
When it snows, remember that traffic on River Road becomes one-way (down hill) from Stonegate Road to Trout Valley Road (at the bridge). With River Road being so narrow and the incline so steep, going uphill puts you and those driving down River Road in danger. Once the weather improves and the roads are cleared, the restriction is lifted.

Deed Restriction of the month:
It's that time of year when we start thinking about spring and summer activities. It's also time to swap out any winter toys (e.g. snowmobiles) by the end of March, for summer toys (boats). Boats should then be removed from your property by the end of October. There's nothing sadder than a snowmobile in July or a boat in January!
11b. No recreational equipment such as boats and boat trailers, recreational vehicles, campers, horse trailers and similar mobile recreational items may be stored, kept, placed or maintained on any lot except during the period or season of active use as defined or determined by the Trout Valley Association.

A Few Notes About This New
Newsletter Format:
In order to view these newsletter graphics, you may have to click something in your email to "allow images." Because all mobile devices vary, you may see color or formatting differences on those devices. You may need to "download" the rest of the newsletter at the bottom of the email on iPhones. You should be able to see a panel of articles on the left and a side bar on the right. Please help us collect email addresses from neighbors who may not be receiving this newsletter. If you wish to change or update your own email, there is a link in the footer below.
The issues will go out on Fridays, although we don't yet know if we will need one every Friday. We welcome news from the neighborhood, including the news of new babies, kudos for kids, events, club activities, board activities, etc. We will continue to add links as information is updated, such as the budget and minutes from meetings. Wednesday will be the cutoff date for an issue that goes out on a Friday. There is a link at the bottom with the email address for submitting articles and/or photos for the newsletter.
