The Breakthrough Planning Tool for Community Transformation 

The Florida House Institute, dedicated to sustainable living and learning since 1994, will open its doors again in October 2014 as the go-to place for creating healthy, thriving communities with a fully engaged citizenry.

We are proud to inaugurate our newly renovated facility by hosting an

NCI Charrette System™ Certificate 3-day Training Workshop with Florida House board member, international trainer and NCI faculty member, Dr. David Brain.

 

Space is available for a maximum of 32 attendees.

Must have 20 participants to hold training.

Overview: The purpose of this training is to teach the tools and techniques for using an NCI Charrette for planning and running a project with full collaboration and support. Participants will gain a practical understanding of how to apply the NCI Charrette System™ to a wide range of planning projects. You will work in small groups on real case studies to practice the 13 most important NCI Charrette System™ tools and techniques, including:

 

Hands-on Public Workshop

Stakeholder Analysis

Charrette Ready Plan

Objectives and Measures

Project Roadmap

Charrette Schedule

 

With The NCI Charrette System™ Training:

 

* Participants receive their own Certificate of Completion in addition to

* 18 credit hours of AIA CES units, 18 AICP CM credits, or 18 ASLA CES professional development hours.
