While we had to take a short break from our volunteer days because we were in transition related to our renovations,
we are pleased to be holding our next volunteer day which will include:
General carpentry: Carpenters will be on hand to help guide the process.
Jump in and be a helper!
Landscape clean-up: Growing areas are in need of some attention.
Dig in and help restore!
Permaculture discussion: Led by Koreen Brennan.
Engage by learning about permaculture!
What is permaculture? A sustainable way of living that works with nature to create abundance. Koreen Brennan has taught permaculture at several universities and colleges on the Central Gulf Coast and teaches introductory and advanced classes in the subject regularly. She was Coordinator for Sustainable Urban Agriculture Coalition in St Pete, is co-founding an urban farm and has worked on a number of community garden and food forest projects. www.growpermaculture.com
