"Image is everything", is the statement of the year for RedFork Main Street. For 2013-14 the Redfork Main Street's Board of Directors have taken on the task of stepping up our main street program by becoming more visible and increasing our exposure. During the May 2013 Board of Directors meeting, a contract to lease the old ONB Community Drive-In Bank, was approved and will become the new office for RedFork Main Street. The building and the large attached lots have been in disrepair for many years, and had been scheduled for demolition when the idea arose to repurpose the space. With the support of ONB Community Bank the site is currently under a renovation process. RedFork Main Street hopes to occupy the new location at 25th and Southwest Blvd. in June 2013. The Westside Farmers Market begins operation on the adjacent lots beginning May 16th.

Crystal City Update, WAY TO GO WEST TULSA!!!
RedFork Main Street, along with other key non-profits and City of Tulsa staff, met with the new owners of Crystal City on April 30th. The meeting was hosted by Dist. 2 City Councilor Jeannie Cue to introduce the new owners to the individuals and organizations who can provide resources to the project. The owners and investors came to Tulsa from Florida and Utah to meet with the group.
During the meeting with the owners commented on how supportive Tulsa has been and stated that the support was a big influence on their choice to purchase Crystal City. The owners will soon begin recruiting businesses and plan to do renovation as businesses are secured. If you are interested in locating a business at Crystal City you may contact Danny Overton at doverton@naipetrous.us.
