The Four Point Approach
The four points of the Main Street approach reflect the comprehensive nature and are keys to Main Street success.
1. Organization -Everyone working towards the same goal.
2. Promotions - Selling the image. An effective promotion strategy forges a positive image.
3. Design - Getting Main Street into top physical shape.
4. Economic Restructuring - Finding new purposes for Main Street's enterprises by responding to the market.

Westside Farmers' Market. RedFork Main Street has began the process of establishing a farmers' market for westside Tulsa residents and employees. buyThe process includes establishing a Advisory Board, a designated Market Manager, written operational guidelines and a minimum of six committed vendors.
The Westside Farmers' Market will operate under the guidance of the RedFork Main Street Economic Restructuring Committee.
A "Farmers' Market" means a designated area in which farmers, growers or producers from a defined region gather on a regularly scheduled basis to sell at retail their products. Farmers' Markets are registered by the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture Food and Forestry and comply with all Food Service Established Regulations.
The Westside Farmers' Market will operate from during the months of April through October. The location of the market has yet to be determined. Vendors who are interested in becoming part of the Westside Farmer's market may contact the RedFork Main Street office for a Vendor Application.
Townwest Sertoma Club
2012 Sertoman of the Year, Mr. Bob Schwarz. Bob accepts the award from President Mike Massey and District Governor Bobby Sertoma Sanderson. One of the common attributes of Sertoma Club members is their willingness to help when the call goes out. Bob has consistently responded when the club, or club members called for assistance. He has put aside his own priorities to be there when needed.
  Congratulations Bob!!
You and the Sertoma Club are an asset to West Tulsa
Rt. 66 Mobile Tour

The Oklahoma Historical Society launched a smartphone-optimized Oklahoma's Historic Route 66 Mobile Tour website in December. The website provides information, maps, photos, audio clips, global-positioning system alerts, and other featuresMobile

of 72 historic sites along Route 66 in Oklahoma.

The site was developed by OnCell, which specializes in mobile tour programs. The OnCell app can be downloaded for iPhone, iPad, and Android systems, and the Route 66 mobile tour also is available there.

Through the Oklahoma Historical Society's programs, dozens of Route 66 roadbed segments, bridges, service stations, motels, cafes, and related landmarks are listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Many of them continue to serve travelers, while others are vacant for now, rapidly deteriorating, or already lost to us. There are many ongoing efforts to protect our state's Route 66 legacy and share it with visitors from around the world. The mobile tour is designed to enhance these efforts by explaining the significance of each of these places. Museums that tell the Route 66 story are also featured in the tour.
