QuickNews correction
The PARCC testing date range for Lawrence High as stated in the last QuickNews was incorrect. As stated in a letter dated February 4 and sent to parents/guardians of Lawrence High students, PARCC testing in the high school will be between April 5 and April 29. Testing will occur during English and math classes.
LHS Scheduling Information Night
Attention parents of 8th graders attending Lawrence High School (LHS) next year: there is a scheduling orientation meeting on Thursday, February 25, at 7PM in the LHS auditorium.

LHS guidance counselors will present the 2016-2017 Course of Studies to 8th graders earlier in the day. This will provide them with a better understanding of the courses they can select during the week of February 29 - March 4, when they meet with their future counselors for scheduling.
Peters scores 1000 points
LHS senior Dominique Peters became the latest member of the 1000-point club on February 16, as the Girls Basketball team took on Notre Dame. Peters (pictured 5th from left) hit the milestone in the fourth quarter on a put-back under the basket.

Swimmers take all
Congratulations to both the LHS Boys and Girls Swim teams for finishing the season as Patriot Division Champs!
Annual public notices
As one method of complying with legal requirements to provide "Annual Notification" to occupants of school buildings, grounds and buses, some required notices are posted in a Public Notices folder at www.ltps.org.

To access the folder, select Business Department/Board Secretary's Office from the Admin drop down menu, then Business Items Filing Cabinet, then Public Notices folder.

Project Graduation Pancake Breakfast
Support LHS Project Graduation by enjoying a pancake breakfast on Sunday, March 13 from 8:00-10:00 a.m. at Applebee's in Lawrenceville. Tickets will be on sale ($7 donation per person) on March 2 and March 9 outside the LHS auditorium from 7:30-8:30 p.m. See flyer.
LHS Students Helping Honduras
Help the LHS chapter of Students Helping Honduras (SHH) reach its goal of completing a three-room schoolhouse in Honduras by clicking here. You can donate to the general LHS page or specific pages of club members.
 
If SHH can raise $25,000 by the end of 2016, one of the schools will be painted red and white in honor of LHS!
