LES PTO Science & Discovery Night
The Lawrenceville Elementary School (LES) PTO will host Science & Discovery Night on Friday, January 29 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at LES. Children will have the opportunity to explore with hands-on activities and demonstrations led by local scientists. Featured vendors include Eyes of Wild, Drum and Dance Learning Center, Terracycle, Science Seeds and more. Admission is $6 per child, free for adults and children under 3. BF PTO 3rd Annual Winter Blast
The Ben Franklin PTO will hold its 3rd Annual Winter Blast on Saturday, February 27, at 6:30 at ETS (Rosedale Rd, Princeton). This adults-only event includes dinner from Leonardo's, cocktails, raffles and silent auction prizes, music, and dancing! Tickets are $25 per person if ordered by February 1. Eating Disorders 101
NAMI Mercer is committed to providing education and support for individuals and families affected by mental illness, and advocating for lives of quality and respect, without stigma or discrimination. All members of the community are invited to its monthly public education meetings to learn about various topics surrounding mental wellness.
On February 2, Cathy Lane, clinical outreach coordinator at the Center for Eating Disorders, University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro, will speak about the signs, symptoms, and treatment options for eating disorders. She will also address support options for parents and caregivers. See flyer for details.
