B&IS Academy hosts "Lunch with a Professional"
The Lawrence High School (LHS) Business & International Studies Academy (B&IS) recently hosted its first "Lunch with a Professional" of the new school year. Edison Partners CMO Kelly Ford met with seven members of the Academy and discussed topics ranging from college selection, resume and interview preparation, and marketing techniques, to the 7 keys for any startup company. It was an excellent educational experience and helped to further strengthen the ties between Edison Partners and the Academy. The venture capital firm has been the chief sponsor of the Cardinal Shark Tank Competition and is still working closely with past winners. Ms. Ford is looking forward to growing the event leading into Spring 2016. Read more about the Academy and Cardinal Shark Tank.
