Visiting quartet to perform LTPS students' quartweets and more - free, public concert October 1
Caleb Anderson, an Eldridge Park 3rd grader, is one of seven district 3rd graders who wrote a quartweet. Today the students worked with the Signum Quartet, a visiting German quartet working with Princeton Symphony Orchestra,  to have the young composers' works come alive.

Jessica Meyer, acclaimed violinist and composer, first worked with students to help them discover what sounds they could have the quartet make to best tell the students' musical short stories. Caleb's composition is entitled Soaring High and is about an inventor who gets angry towards the end of the piece. Hear the initial piece and the final piece after Caleb directed the quartet to play certain notes a particular way.

Take advantage of the Signum Quartet's being in Lawrence and attend a free, public concert  on Thursday, October 1 at 7PM in Lawrence High School.
