LTPS colleague presents paper at international conference in Ireland
Summer days are often spent at the pool or the shore, but sometimes they can involve more than just a trip to the beach. For Michele D'Angelo, Lawrence Township Public Schools (LTPS) psychologist, they included a trip to Ireland where she presented a paper at an academic conference on crime fiction at the University of Limerick on June 27. The paper was entitled:  "Plays within Plays within Plays:  Revisiting Shakespeare's 'Murder Most Foul' in the Age of Consumption."

The two-day conference was titled:  Consuming Crime:  Consumption, Commodification and Consumerism in Crime Fiction, Film and Television - the Sixth Interdisciplinary Conference of the International Crime Genre Research Network.  As stated on the International Crime Fiction website, the conference featured presentations by several international scholars and was aimed at exploring the ideas of consumption, commodification and consumerism as they feature in the crime genre.
