LHS students help Honduras
On July 11, eleven Lawrence High School (LHS) students traveled to Honduras to spend one week building schools with the organization Students Helping Honduras. The students were accompanied by LHS Spanish teacher Alyssa Katz and Montgomery Township math teacher Denita Davis. Students Helping Honduras aims to alleviate extreme poverty and violence in Honduras through education and youth empowerment. Ms. Katz has been involved with the organization for the past 3 years.
The Lawrence High School (LHS) Girls Tennis team will hold a car wash fundraiser on Saturday, August 22, from 9AM to 12PM at LHS. Support the team while your car is cleaned! See flyer.

Mark your calendars for the "new" Back to School Socials at Lawrence Intermediate School (LIS). This year's socials will be a bit different from the past. Meet new friends, greet old friends you may not have seen over the summer, play some games, and have a snack. Some other special surprises may occur as well!
