The next Board of Education meeting is Wednesday, August 12 in the Lawrence High School library. The public portion of the meeting begins at 7PM.

ESL teacher receives Community Education Grant
Congratulations to Angeline Sturgis, Eldridge Park ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher, for receiving a $400 Community Education Grant from the American Immigration Council. Angeline's awarded proposal is entitled "Telling the Family Story."

Red, White and Bang! Kid's Triathlon
The 6th annual Red, White and Bang! Kid's Triathlon for ages 6-16 is Labor Day, September 7. Families may register online through their CommunityPass accounts or by submitting completed registration forms to the Lawrence Township Recreation Department by August 18. All proceeds will go to the July 4, 2016 fireworks display. Sponsors and volunteers are welcome and needed.
