Lawrence Township Public Schools (LTPS) K-3 Gifted & Talented (G&T) teacher Jeanne Muzi will spend 12 days at sea aboard NOAA Ship Thomas Jefferson assisting scientists as they conduct a hydrographic survey along the U.S. East Coast. Mrs. Muzi was chosen to participate in this research cruise as part of the 2015 class for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) Teacher at Sea Program, a program that bridges science and research through real-world research experiences for teachers. She plans to incorporate the experience into her lessons to better engage her students in marine science.
Childcare school bus transportation requests are due August 8 in order to be effective for the first day of school (September 3). Requests must be filled out at the beginning of each school year. Childcare provider must be located within the school's sending area that the student attends and there needs to be a seat available on the bus in order for us to accommodate your request. If the bus becomes full during the school year, we may not be able to provide transportation as requested. The childcare transportation form is available here.
Please complete the form, scan and email it (transportation@ltps.org), mail it, or drop it by the Transportation Department within the district's administration building (2565 Princeton Pike, Lawrenceville 08648). Questions? Contact Transportation at (609) 671-5444 or 5445.
