LIS 4th Grader Named NJ Distinguished Student

Alana Pahade, 4th grader in Ms. Kochis' class at Lawrence Intermediate School (LIS), was recently named as the 2015 Distinguished Student by the New Jersey Association fro Gifted Children (NJAGC). The NJAGC recognizes one child annually who made a difference in his/her community and who excels in academics.

In addition, Alana started a new charity called "Leaf Foundation, Creating Greener Gardens" - the goal is to plant trees and preserve natural gardens.
