LTPS Continues Conversation about Next Strategic Plan

Several parents, community members, district staff, and Board of Education members met on February 4, 2015 to continue discussion started at the December 3, 2014 Community Conversation about the district's next strategic plan.  Check here for the PowerPoint from that evening, general meeting notes, and transcribed input received.

 

Next steps are to:

  • Review strengths and weaknesses
  • Review data from athletic and special education strategic plans
  • Begin to develop district goals

 

The next meeting is Wednesday, February 25, 2015 from 6:30-9 p.m. in the Lawrence High library.  Everyone is welcome to attend this meeting, even if you were unable to attend the February 4th meeting.

LTPS-TV This Weekend

Saturday & Sunday, February 21-22, LTPS-TV will broadcast four new programs on Comcast Channel 19 and Verizon Channel 37 in Lawrence Township:

 

LHS Girls Varsity Basketball recorded 1/16/15 (approximately 1 hour 5 minutes)

8:30AM, 4:30PM & 10PM

Lawrence takes on Ewing at home.

 

LHS Varsity Ice Hockey recorded 1/16/15 (approximately 1 hour 10 minutes)

5:30AM, 11AM & 7PM

Lawrence takes on Nottingham at home.

 

LHS Varsity Wrestling recorded 1/17/15 (approximately 49 minutes)

10AM, 6PM & 11:30PM

Lawrence takes on Steinert at home.

 

LHS Winter Instrumental Concert recorded 2/5/15 (approximately 1 hour 4 minutes)

7AM, 12:30PM & 8:30PM

Frederick Law Olmsted: His Favorite Plants

The Garden Gate Garden Club will begin its spring programs on March 16 with guest speaker David Bosted's presentation on Frederick Law Olmsted, designer of Central Park in New York, the Lawrenceville School campus, and Trenton's Cadwalader Park.

"Amazing Chemistry" Spring Science Lecture

Princeton University invites students ages 9 and up to attend "Amazing Chemistry," the Princeton Center for Complex Materials' annual spring science lecture on March 21 on the Princeton University campus.  The lecture is free and open to the public. Seats are limited and registration is required.  Registration opens on Monday, March 2. See flyer for details.
