LHS Arts & Humanities Academy Celebrates Black History
Join the Lawrence High School (LHS) Arts and Humanities Academy as it presents a Black History Celebration: "The Black Experience: See it, Hear it, Taste it, Feel it" on February 20. The celebration of black history and culture will feature student and faculty performances, a poster presentation contest, dish sampling, a live music concert by Amazing Grace Little and the Grace Little Band and a keynote address by local, renown civil rights activist, Ms. Edith Savage-Jennings. This event is free and is a NJEA PRIDE Grant-sponsored event.
Join the Lawrence Middle School (LMS) Drama Club as they present "The Wizard of Oz" on March 5-7 at 7:00 p.m. in the LMS auditorium. General admission tickets are available for purchase online and at the door: $6 for seniors and students, $8 for adults. To purchase online, visit www.showtix4u.com, search for LMS Drama, The Wizard of Oz, purchase your tickets and print them at home. Online tickets sales end at 5:00 p.m. on the day of each show but tickets can still be purchased at the door between 6:00 and 7:00 p.m.

Family Movie Night at LHS
Come to Family Movie Night at Lawrence High School (LHS) tonight, February 12 for a special viewing of Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. Tickets are $5 per child, $10 per family (includes popcorn and drink) and can be purchased at the door or online here. Proceeds will benefit the LHS ESL Student Association. See flyer.
