LTPS Wins Constant Contact All Star Award

LHS Freshman Divers Sweep Mercer County Championship

Taking the county by storm, Lawrence High School's (LHS) three-freshman dive team earned top honors at the January 28 Mercer County Championship, sweeping 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. It is the first time in many years that Lawrence had enough divers to qualify for a team title.

 

Adam LeCompte took 1st Place and broke the school record with a 6-dive score of 236.80. Luke Annand placed 2nd and Ryan Morris finished 3rd.

 

Additionally, Adam qualified for the State meet with a score of 375.65 at the Cougar 11-Dive Invitational on January 22nd.

Varsity Cheerleaders Take 3rd Place in Cheer Competition

Congratulations to the Lawrence High School (LHS) Varsity Cheerleaders who won 3rd Place in the Large Division of the Monroe Falcon Cheer Bowl at Monroe Township High School on February 1.  LHS Health and Physical Education teacher Adrienne Landolfi coaches the squad.

Family Movie Night at LHS

Come to Family Movie Night at Lawrence High School (LHS) on February 12 for a special viewing of Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. Tickets are $5 per child, $10 per family (includes popcorn and drink) and can be purchased at the door or online here. Proceeds will benefit the LHS ESL Student Association. See flyer.

 

Athletic Booster Club Reschedules Meeting 
The Lawrence Athletic Booster Club reorganization meeting postponed on January 27 due to inclement weather has been rescheduled to February 24 from 7-8:00 p.m. in the Lawrence High School Auditorium. 

Measles FAQ from NJ Dept of Health
In response to recent news reports of a measles outbreak, the New Jersey Department of Health has provided this Measles FAQ sheet to inform the public about the disease and how to prevent it. Information can also be found on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website.

Saturday & Sunday, February 7 & 8, LTPS-TV will broadcast four new programs on Comcast Channel 19 and Verizon Channel 37 in Lawrence Township:

 

LHS Girls Varsity Basketball recorded 1/14/15 (approximately 1 hour 13 minutes)

9:30AM, 4:30PM & 9:30PM

Lawrence takes on Hamilton West at home.

 

LHS Varsity Swimming recorded 1/15/15 (approximately 1 hour 13 minutes)

6AM, 11AM & 6PM

Lawrence takes on Notre Dame at home.

 

LHS Idol recorded 1/22/15 (approximately 1 hour 9 minutes)

7:30AM, 12:30PM, 8PM & 11PM

Lawrence High School students compete in musical performances.

 

SW Responsibility Pillar of Character Assembly recorded 2/2/15 (approximately 23 minutes)
