Newly elected Board of Education (BOE) members Glenn Collins, Dana Drake, and Max Ramos were sworn in at the January 7 BOE reorganization meeting. They were elected in November 2014. Dana is an incumbent and Glenn and Max are new to the BOE. The BOE elected Kevin Van Hise to again serve as President and Michael Horan as Vice President.

If your child will be five years old on or before October 1, 2015, he/she is eligible to attend Kindergarten in Lawrence Township Public Schools beginning in September 2015. How do you register? Register now for Harassment, Intimidation and Bullying...Uncovering the Law, a free seminar on January 15 at 7PM at Lawrence High School funded by a grant from the Lawrence Township Education Foundation (LTEF). In our post-Columbine age, student discipline and the handling of policies concerning student behavior have become particularly important. At this seminar, attorney John Comegno will educate parents about the NJ Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act, covering common misconceptions and offering insight into the law. See flyer.
