Philly Pops Brass Quintet Visits LHS

Lawrence High School (LHS) music students were treated to a performance of a brass quintet of the Philly Pops Orchestra at an assembly in the LHS auditorium on September 10. LHS was one of three high schools in Mercer County to have this opportunity. The musicians performed several pieces, both familiar and new, and explained how brass instruments evolved to the ones we know today.

On Saturday, September 27, the Philly Pops Orchestra, in conjunction with St. Lawrence Rehab Center, will perform at the Patriots' Theatre in Trenton. The orchestra will be joined by members of the original "Jersey Boys" cast. Read more here.
