AP Bio Students Visit Mutter Museum

Lawrence High School (LHS) students in Debbie Randall's AP Biology classes recently visited the Mutter Museum, located in the Philadelphia College of Physicians. This is a medical museum that focuses on medical history and exhibits displays of preserved collections of anatomical specimens, human anomalies and medical instruments. The students used the experience to better understand the mysteries of the human body and to enhance their appreciation of the history of disease and treatment.

LIS Has Heart

Lawrenceville Intermediate School (LIS) students and the Health and Physical Education staff held their annual Jump Rope and Hoops for Heart fundraisers in March. Through participation, students have fun while learning the importance of physical activity and community service. This year's combined events had over 200 student participants and raised a whopping $19,145 for the American Heart Association!
