Middle School Drama Club Presents "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat"
Come see Lawrence Middle School students perform "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" by Andrew Lloyd Weber and Tim Rice, a musical about friendship and forgiveness. Also featured is a children's chorus comprised of children from all four of our elementary schools. Students have dedicated countless hours towards this production and you will be singing and dancing by its conclusion!

LHS Theater Troupe Presents "Legally Blonde"
Come see Lawrence High theater company's production of "Legally Blonde" on March 13, 14 or 15 at 7PM in the Lawrence High auditorium.
Legally Blonde is a musical based on a novel by Amanda Brown. The production follows the story of sorority president Elle Woods who attends Harvard Law School on a mission to find love. She discovers how the law can help others and uses her new found knowledge to defend workout queen Brooke Wyndham in a murder trial.
Lorie Baldwin, Lawrence High theater director, leads the troupe.

Wolf is Region V Wrestling Champion
Senior wrestler Gordon Wolf (on right) took the 138-pound weight class title at the NJSIAA Region V Wrestling Tournament this past Saturday, earning him the No. 1 seed going into the State Tournament beginning Friday, March 7 in Atlantic City. Read more in Times of Trenton article.

O'Rourke Earns Place among State's Top Swimmers
 Senior swimmer Kate O'Rourke placed in the state's elite top eight in both the 50 and 100 yard freestyle events at the NJSIAA Meet of Champions on March 2. Kate placed 2nd in the 50 free with a time of 23.43 and 4th in the 100 free with 51.26. Kate will be swimming for Columbia University in the fall. 8th Grade Art Displayed at Lawrence Library
Fifty 8th graders from Jennifer Skorupa's art classes at Lawrence Middle School (LMS) were selected to have their clay coil vase pieces photographed and displayed at the Lawrence Library for the month of March. Students were taught the coiling technique and were instructed to create a vase that was 5 inches or taller and able to hold at least an inch of water as part of their functional art unit.

Lawrenceville Elementary School (LES) first graders welcomed guest reader, Rick Miller, to kick off the NEA's annual Read Across America Day. Read Across America Day is a nationwide reading celebration that takes place annually on March 2, Dr. Seuss's birthday. Mr. Miller, the Deputy Administrator for Finance and Administration for the NJ Motor Vehicle Commission and LES parent, read two books to the students.
