District Sets School Make-Up Days Schedule
As the Beatles said: Little darling, it's been a long cold lonely winter... Three emergency closing or make-up days (May 23, June 6 & 13) were built into our initial 2013-2014 school calendar. With this challenging winter and our needing additional make-up days, it became necessary for us to revise our calendar and designate additional make-up days. As of February 14, schools have been closed seven (7) days due to inclement weather. Listed below are the dates we were closed and the make-up dates on which schools will be in session.

Mr. Billy's Snow Day Story Time
Slackwood Elementary School Principal Jay Billy took advantage of the snow days on February 13 and 14 to involve students in an organized reading activity. He invited students and their parents to a private online conference where he read three stories from his home in real-time to the elementary school kids. Read the Times of Trenton story here. |
