Welcome Back Staff!
 Today Superintendent Crystal Edwards greeted staff (left photo) as they returned to the district after summer break. After brief remarks from presidents Laura Waters (Board of Education), Paul Schindel (Lawrence Township Education Foundation), Pat Maria (Lawrence Administrative Business and Technical Association), Michele D'Angelo (Lawrence Township Education Association), and Jon Dauber (Lawrence Principals and Supervisors Association), Dr. Edwards welcomed and saluted all staff with a motivational address. Afterwards Andrew Zuckerman, director of instructional services, (below photo) finished the morning by presenting  updates and guidelines to the state-mandated and newly implemented teacher evaluation program and the Danielson model the district is using for the initiative. This session marked the beginning of three days of staff professional development this week.
Students return to school Monday, September 9 for a full day. |

Lunch Price Correction
Good news! Two lunch prices printed in the Back-to-School Bulletin are actually lower. Elementary and Intermediate lunches are $2.60. Middle School lunches are $2.85/$3.10. |
