About OUTreach
Dear OUTreach friend,

We are overwhelmed by your outpouring of support at our Fantabulous Fundraiser Saturday, and after our year-end appeal. Your contributions make such a difference to us - we do a LOT with very little, serving 100's of LGBT youth every week.  Please remember OUTreach and the youth we serve as you plan your giving for 2013.

This is a party week for OUTreach, with thanks from Bath and Body Works and in celebration of OUTreach alum, Jackson Carter, our Biggest Winner (that's what CNN anchor Don Lemon calls Jackson - and he is exactly right!).

Watch for many special events in January - two watch parties for Jackson, a community forum on LGBT homeless youth, and a training evening for new and seasoned volunteers.

Hope to see you there, as we work together to create a world where ALL youth are safe, happy and loved!

Announcing a new project that
YOU can be a part of..."Make it Better NOW!"

You have heard of the fabulous "It Gets Better Project," right?  (And we love you, Dan!)

But then OUTreach youth posed the question - "Why wait for someday...let's make it better now!"

And so they have created a brand new project with an inaugural video, and invite you to create and upload your OWN "Make it Better, Now! video via the brand new Make it Better Now facebook page. The new website, www.makeitbetterutah.org, is under construction, and we will let you know when it is "live." It will feature lots of youth-written content about how we call all partner together to make it better, NOW for youth in Utah and beyond.  Our goal is EVERY youth safe, loved and happy - together, we can do it!  Want to submit an article for the new website?  Drop us a line!

Update: Community Forum: "Gay to Straight" Therapy and new LDS Gay Mormon Website

Check out the Ben Winslow's Fox 13 news story - he really captured the spirit of bringing people together around love and acceptance.  Our panelists and audience were wonderful - it's fabulous when people can bring different views and engage in productive discussion.  Watch for our next forum, January 22nd, on LGBT youth homelessness, bullying and suicide and how we can Make it Better, NOW!

Yes, the Fete was Fantabulous!
