Dear OUTreach friend,
Be a part of the fun and fabulous events going on this week! December 11: Join us for a community discussion about the new Mormon website and reparative therapy. We have an amazing panel (read more below).
Have you reserved your ticket for our one and only annual fundraiser this Saturday, December 15? Please do - it will be a fun evening (and read more about it, below!)
Lastly - you will see a letter from our Board President inviting you to make a year-end contribution to OUTreach. We do a LOT with very little, and each dollar goes a long way. If you would like to partner with us to change hearts and minds in support of the value of ALL youth - and save lives in the process - please share your abundance with those who have so little. Of the 350 or so LGBT and allied youth we serve, 90% are below the poverty line, and 27% are experiencing homelessness. Your contribution not only gives them enriching, educational programming, it literally feeds and clothes them. Please help.
Thank you for your care, your passion and your hope for a brighter tomorrow! Marian Edmonds, Executive Director OUTreach Resource Center

December, 2012
OUTreach has hosted over 2,400 visits from youth so far this year. We appreciate your support! Without the help of caring supporters like you, the work we do at OUTreach would not be possible.
For queer youth in Northern Utah, OUTreach is their loving space; a place to explore the wholeness of who they are, and to consider the bright prospects of their future. The winter months are a difficult time for our teens who have been forced out of their homes to fend for themselves. OUTreach offers food, clothing, and assistance to those in need. Of the youth we serve, 40% of our kids do not know where they will sleep, or where their next meal will come from.
As you consider your year-end giving, we ask that you remember the youth of OUTreach.
We invite you to take a tour of OUTreach and meet some of the 60+ youth who attend our center on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Contact Marian Edmonds, our Executive Director, at 801-686-4528 or medmonds@ogdenoutreach.org to arrange a visit and see what we're all about! If you would like to receive our weekly newsletter just shoot her an e-mail.
Again, thank you for all you do for our organization!
Sincerely,
Jeff Lensman, President
OUTreach Resource Center Board of Directors
