Dear OUTreach friend,
Snow is falling in the mountains, Halloween is coming soon...it's time to shift gears to fun and planning for thriving and success. What does that mean? Taking a cue from Jackson, (see below) on the set of Biggest Loser and getting in shape. There's ways each of us can take steps to be all that we can be - so join us at OUTreach for a new Life Coaching series, or take the time on your own to find life abundant.
The world needs each of us, strong, proactive, caring and ready to be the change we wish to see!

This week's topic: Emotional and Physical Health.
 So how do you answer these questions: What do you need more of in your life? ~ How would you describe yourself if you were writing a novel? ~ What is the part of your life that causes you the most stress? ~
Plus: Stephanie and Ariel will share stress-reducing journaling techniques (and a journal for you)!
It's almost Halloween - two fun ways to get ready!
4:00 Lynda West Scott, one of the authors of "Tales From Two-Bit Street and Beyond" will talk about some of the ghost stories just down the street (eek!). Read Doug Gibson's article...
And then, Maureen Duffy-Boose will share the religious significance of Halloween, the Pagan and Earth rituals...there's a lot more than most of us know! Bring your questions and curiosity!
It's a great day for a Field Trip to the Ogden Nature Center!
As always, it is free for OUTreach youth, including transportation

What can YOU create? And in the art center, digital media is all the (Art)RAGE! Check it OUT, try your hand at dreaming up something wonderful!

Dr. Heather Ambrose and Dr. Teri Kay, are at OUTreach and available to offer free, confidential counseling to you (and with your family if you wish).
Plus: Yummy, yummy dinner! And
borrow books and videos from our library, create a masterpiece in our Art Center, chill out and play pool, foosball or ping pong, or use one of the 6 computers in our Cyber Center.
OUTreach This Thursday, October 25th 3:00 - 7:30 Ages 14 - 23 Life Coaching Workshop Part II 3:30 - 4:30 Get caught up if you missed the first session, or start on the next: Health and Fitness quizzes and planning. 4:30 - 5:30 We are going to have a FUNraiser! Join in the planning and general merriment with our friends from the Weber State Performing Arts Department! 5:30 Dinner - join in the cooking fun!

Dear OUTreach Family!
Hello from the ranch! I Love and miss you all so much. It's weird to spend Wednesdays and Thursdays away from you all. I'm going crazy without you (well, crazier :)).
The Ranch is so amazing it is the most beautiful place I have ever been. Every morning the birds wake you up and every night, the cyotes sing you to sleep. There are tons of trails to hike and a bunch of things to do.
I am learning a lot out here. it has been fun, but really hard. My trainer is kicking my butt! Luckily though, whenever I think I can't do it or feel like I want to give up. I look at my OUTreach bracelet and remember why I'm here. You guys keep me going.
I hope you're all doing great and I can't wait to see you all again soon.
