How do people adapt to change?

10th grade students at Wood River High School explored the driving question, "How Do People Adapt to Change?" through multidisciplinary projects at Wood River High School

Parents, students, and community members were invited to enjoy student creative pieces addressing change, how people adapt to it, and how it impacts our world.

WRHS English teacher Michel Sewell wrote, "This new International Baccalaureate unit experimented with how the stylistic elements of creative writing (theme, tone, mood, plot, conflict, character, purpose, audience, etc) can carry over into other disciplines. Students displayed a range of projects from video production, to dance, to photography, to music, to video game design, to science exploration, to traditional poetry and short stories. Students, staff and parents voted on their favorite projects. Top student projects won creativity baskets filled with all sorts of creative thinking prizes."
