Message from Interim Superintendent John Blackman

" This Thanksgiving, I want to take the opportunity to say thank you to everyone who plays a part in the Blaine County School District. I am grateful to our students who work hard every day, to all of our staff who guide student learning from the cafeteria to the classroom, to our parents for their involvement and and support, to our Board of Trustees for their governance and policy-making, and finally to our community for supporting the students and staff of the Blaine County School District. Thank you for everything that each of you do to help us become a world-class, student focused community of teaching and learning. Happy Thanksgiving!"

Students Contribute to Holiday Baskets
Several groups of students from various schools contributed to holiday baskets this year. Woodside Elementary students, including Cindy Aschliman and Elizabeth Ornelas' 3rd grade classes, contributed to this year's holiday baskets by making cards for the families receiving the baskets. Mrs. Aschliman and Mrs. Ornelas' students visited the Hunger Coalition and wrote cards to include in the holiday baskets. Monica, from the Hunger Coalition wrote, "Thank you so much for having the students make so many beautiful cards - this will be so nice for the families to get in their Thanksgiving baskets!"
