Board of Trustees: Paul Bates, Liz Schwerdtle, Kathryn Graves, Kathy Baker, Shawn Bennion.
Recently, the Blaine County School District Board of Trustees reached a mutual separation agreement with former Superintendent Dr. Lonnie Barber. The separation was due to differences in leadership style and approach. Both parties also acknowledged the changing dynamics of the relationship and recognized that a positive culture is vital to student success.
Chairman Paul Bates stated, "Since Dr. Barber's employment contract was entered into in good faith, it was important to honor the contract."
The Blaine County School District transitioned to a new website today, unveiling a new look and features designed with parents, staff and students in mind. Approximately 250 educators have created websites for their classrooms and dozens of departments have created pages of information designed to help all stakeholders access information about the district. Some teacher websites are still being developed. Please be patient as teachers learn this new tool and put it into practice. As always, your feedback is more than welcome. Contact us with questions or comments. Help us make this new tool even better!
