Bellevue Elementary Principal Angie Martinez Named Director of Curriculum, Teaching and Learning
The Blaine County School District is pleased and excited to announce the hiring of Mrs. Angie Martinez as the new Director of Curriculum, Teaching and Learning. A hiring committee of thirteen representing District administrators, principals, teachers and parents unanimously selected Mrs. Martinez after a national search and a lengthy interview process.

Proposed Budget and Budget Meeting: Tuesday, June 11, 5:00-6:30 p.m., followed by Regular Meeting
The annual Budget Hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, June 11 from 5:00-6:30 p.m. The draft budget can be found here. The Board of Trustees welcomes public comment about the budget during the Budget Hearing. Following the Budget Hearing, the regular June Board of Trustees meeting will be held starting at 6:30 p.m. Both meetings are at the District Office, 118 W. Bullion, Hailey. As always, public comment is welcome during regular board meetings.
Agenda highlights of the regular Board of Trustees meeting include:

Board Trustee Don Nurge Resigns
 Zone 5 Board Trustee Don Nurge announced his resignation to administrators and staff last Friday.
In his letter he said, "It is with a heavy heart that I announce my resignation effective following our last regular meeting of the school year on June 11, 2013." Read the full letter here. Details regarding the replacement process will be provided when they are available.
