Students Hit the Slopes
Students hit the slopes this winter, enjoying the beautiful winter playground in their own backyard. Thanks to Sun Valley Company and a myriad of generous local ski stores, volunteers, staff and supporters, every student has the opportunity to learn to ski in Blaine County. Thank you to everyone who help make this extraordinary program possible. We hope you watch the slideshow below.

Teacher Survey Closes Today
We received over 400 responses to the Teacher Survey. Thank you! It's not too late! The Teacher Survey closes at midnight tonight.
All parents with updated email addresses in Skyward should have received the Teacher Survey. Parents without email can request a paper survey at the front desk of their school.
It is the intent of the Board of Trustees that the Teacher Survey will occur annually in the Blaine County School District.
We thank each of you who participated. Our effort towards continuous improvement cannot happen without involved parents. We appreciate each and every one of you.

Snowflakes Sent to Sandy Hook
Woodside Elementary art teacher Joni Cashman responded to the request for snowflakes for the new Sandy Hook elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut. 3rd grade Woodside teacher Kelly Hughston contacted Ms. Cashman over the winter break letting her know that the Connecticut PTA was looking for snowflakes. Ms. Cashman mailed a box of three-dimensional snowflakes made by Woodside students, and guess what? The box was opened during a segment on CBS Sunday Morning. Watch it here.
