If organic dairy production is something you have considered or are curious to learn more about, this informal and friendly session with organic dairy consultant Sarah Flack and           certification specialist Ashley Green with the Vermont Organic Farmers certification program will give you an overview and get your questions answered.  Come learn about:


  • The certification process
  • Current organic standards (including pasture requirements)
  • Additional technical assistance available for cash flow   projections for the transition year and beyond


Representatives from Horizon Organic, Stonyfield, and       Organic Valley will be here to describe their programs         including:
  • Company and pay price structures
  • Component pricing
  • Transition year bonuses
