Join us for a full day of discussion on two topics generating a lot of interest lately - irrigation and tile drainage in pasture systems.
Irrigation specialist, Jim Peeler of Charles W. Harris Irrigation in
Brimfield, Massachusetts will start the day with considerations for designing and implementing an irrigation system for pastures.

Dairy farmers Earl Fournier of Swanton, VT and Tyler Webb of Fairfield, VT will talk about the in's and out's of the irrigation systems in place on their farms. Tyler utilizes a traveling gun irrigator and Earl uses a pod system. Come hear about the logistics of each!

After lunch, Eric Young from the Miner Institute in Chazy, NY will update us on research evaluating the management of tile drainage systems to optimize nutrient integration and retention in soils.
