Upcoming Cover Crop Patrol

METTAWEE VALLEY CROP PATROL

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6 2015

STARTS AT DEER FLATS FARM - 12PM * WEST PAWLET VT

The Champlain Valley Crop, Soils, and Pasture Team, along with the Poultney Mettawee Conservation District and the Champlain Valley Farmer Coalition, invite you to join us for a crop patrol, on Friday, November 6, starting at 12 p.m. at Deer Flats Farm in Pawlet. We will look at cover crops planted in early October, as well as a grain drill and corn planter set up for no-till. We will then travel south through the Mettawee Valley to tour fields with winter rye, oats, and no-till alfalfa.
