Join the Champlain Valley Crop Soil & Pasture Team and Deer Valley Farm  as we share our preliminary results from our Cover Crop Diversity in No-Till Systems SARE Partnership Project. Come check out our on-farm research plots of two different cover crop mixes in corn silage.
Some Highlights & Discussion Will Include:
- Two different three way cover crop mixes...plus Winter Rye for comparison
- Both mixes (and rye) interseeded into the standing corn crop & no-till drilled after corn harvest
- See our No-Till Grain Drill up close
- Manure, cover crops, and no-till
- No-till vs. fall plow
- Cover crops as forage crops...potentials and pitfalls
- Hear about upcoming cover crop work and give us input on what you want to learn more about
- Great discussions with your neighbor farmers, agronomists, and technical service providers.
