March In Review

March mornings you could find us doing crafts with Kitty, going green with Alicia, working on writing a cookbook with Terri Long, walking to the library, cooking with Kate, and creating cool arts and crafts with Martha and Sarah.

Mid-days we did pottery with Fiona at ArtisTree,  skied at Suicide 6 with Vermont Adaptive,  competed in the Special Olympics Snowshoe Competition, and had "Wacky" science class with Anthea.  We also took part in a  pep-rally put on by Woodstock Elementary School, sang with Kerry, played instruments in band class with Mark Van Gulden,  went swimming with Community Classroom and  visited the Woodstock Historical Society. We enjoyed watching films at Billings Farm, and at ZP's we watched "Hook", a movie all about Peter Pan!

By the afternoon you would think we would be worn out, but we were ready for more new experiences, so we learned sign language with Nancy, did yoga at the fitness center,  toned our muscles with Bari,  had art class with Jools and Mary, and  began our weekly play practice at the Thompson Senior Center with our collaborators, the Seniors!

We read books with George Wohlgemuth, Pam Pickett, Phil Swanson and Ron Jaynes.
