November In Review
In the mornings in November we hiked on Mondays with Kitty, we worked on going green with Alicia, delivered Pentangle Posters, did crafts with Sarah, and went to Norman Williams Library.
Mid-day we baked and baked and baked for the Turkey Trot with our angel volunteer Doug Phillips. We did pottery with Fiona at Artistree, we had our wacky fun science class with Anthea, we worked on our new Holiday Greeting card series with Baily, we decorated turkeys with Lolly, cooked with Kate Miller, swam with community classroom, had movie day with Kitty and we visited Billings Farm every Tuesday with Martha for our farm programs.
In the afternoons we learned sign language with Nancy, we stretched our minds and body in yoga classes with Tita and Annie, we did fitness with Bari, art with Fiona and sang with Kerry. We had a fun sports class with Carl Hurd and we visited the Hood Musuem with Martha.
We also went over on Sunday the 23rd and watched the incredible performance from our friends at Spark! They worked very hard and it showed. It was a delightful story which highlighted how important everyone is. Kudos to you Spark!
We were also lucky enough to have a small part in their play which our science club performed an experiment with Anthea.
