The 2013 Zack's Place Special Olympics Snow Shoe Team
Zack's Place Special Olympics Snow Shoe team is working Hard for the competition on March 8th!
January in Review
At Zack's Place we delivered posters for Pentangle, took cooking lessons, made beads with Sarah, worked on our greeting cards, cleaned up around ZP and went to the library, all in the mornings.
During mid-day we ate lunch together, skied at Suicide 6 with VASS, went to the movies at Billings Farm, went bowling, had motivational meetings with Angel, swam with Woodstock Union High School Community Classroom, did art with Fiona, drummed and sang with Mark VanGulden and Kathleen Dolan.
After school we snow-shoed around the green getting ready for the Special Olympics, we exercised with Bari, did yoga with Tita, art with Fiona and sang with Kerry Rosenthal and Norm Frates Sr.. We read books with Tow Wright, Anthea LaVallee, Tea Britton, Ron Jaynes, Jim Sadwith and Chloe Dickinsen.

We love to sing at Zack's Place and Keri Rosenthal is coming into sing with us every week. She is too much fun!
Matt and Joey practice hard! Matt thinks they can win this year. Practice is on the green once a week for the Zack's Place Special Olympics ski Team!
Lindsey and Jack are partners this year and Laura is there for moral support.

Too cold to go outside, thanks to Woodstock Elementary for sharing your gym to practice in. A kick ball game .

The 2013/14  Woodstock Telephone Directory

Zack's Place is grateful to The Woodstock Learning Trust for passing on this wonderful little book that generates sustainable revenue for programs that improve and enrich the lives of our special needs population.

You may submit white page listing changes and yellow page advertising inquiries through our new website after February 20th,  or e-mail us directly at phonebook@ZacksPlaceVT.org.  You may also call 457-7142.  This is an additional phone line at Zack's Place designated solely to the phone directory.

Zack's  Place is excited about some upcoming changes.

We are getting a new website! The address will be the same www.ZacksPlaceVT.org but the look and content are going to be updated and easier to navigate through. With that,  we have some new email addresses.

This website has been paid for through a grant from Mr. Ed Ditomas.
