Zack's Place Visits the State House and Sings the State Song
On April 5, 2012 Zack's Place hopped on the bus and rode to Montpelier to visit the State House. Upon arrival we were greeted by Alison Clarkson and Vivian Fritz. From there ZP toured the state House. At 1PM ZP sang the Vermont State Song on the floor of the house for the devotional. After the tour we visited the State Historical musuem. It was a wonderful trip.Singing the Vermont State Song

Zack's Place is Gardening with the Help of Hypertherm, Home Depot and Woodstock Recycling Garden volunteers
Last week Home Depot donated a garden full of beautiful flowers. Woodstock Recycling dropped off 4 yards of dirt and four lovely volunteers came for a hard days work of beautifying Zack's Place. Together the participants and volunteers Megan Blood, Barbara Zaninni, Tarauna Araura and Minh Best worked hard and came out with beautiful results. Thank you to our donaters and volunteers!
A fun Day of BowlingBowling with ZP

This month we were reminded once again how much the ZP gang likes to bowl. We had an awesome turn-out of 24 people and everyone did great. Ed taught us all how to keep score; Joey, Eddy, and Fred took turns throwing strikes; and Jonah went around taking great pictures of everyone. We all had a wonderful time.

Super Hero Day!!! We will come to the rescue!Super Hero Day

Zack's Place has adopted a new program in which we give back to the community by going to neighbors and friends who need a helping hand and serving them in any way we can. In April we had the privilege of going to Shortledge's house and helping with Spring clean up. The ZP particpants did an extraordinary job.  It was great for everyone to work together and see our accomplishments. We are committed to continuing our Super Hero Day at least once a month and highly recommend that every participant make an effort to be a part of this very special endeavor. If you know of someone in our community who could use some help with something, please let us know.
