Tuesday Ladies Fun League

Once again the Tuesday Ladies Fun League at Greenacres will tee-up the season on May 6th with our 'Get Acquainted' Season Opener Party!!!
Greenacres is happy to welcome back all of the returning ladies to the golf course for another great season. We are also excited to meet all of the new members that are surely eager to begin their first chapter with our club. It is never too late to sign up a new friend to our wonderful Tuesday Ladies Fun League!
The 2014 season continues to grow, as more than 30 new members have joined our league. Our non-competitive "Ladies Fun League" is a great way for women to enjoy the game of golf, socialize in a beautiful, calm, and relaxing setting while our Greenacres staff takes care of the rest!!!

Arnold Palmer was with out a doubt the most popular players to have ever played the game. People today remain in such awe of the man who played with so much greatness, yet had the ability to handle it with so much humility, care, and concern for everyone around him.
Arnold Palmer made a list of his top 10 Rules on Etiquette that was published in August of 2008 by Golf Digest. I believe it is important for everyone to Grab and Arnold Palmer (Half Ice tea and Half Lemonade) and read though his list to see what the King has to say about improving the game of golf.

ALS Golfathon

Congratulations to Rob McElroy who won $200 by selecting Bubba Watson's golf ball in the Masters/ALS golf pool. Thank you for each and everyone of you who also participated in the draw. Greenacres golf course raised $280 for the ALS Charity so far. We will be hoping to raise a little more throughout the month of May .

Recipe of the Month
Orchard Chicken Lettuce Wrap
½ cup sourcream
¼ cup mango chutney
¼ cup mayonnaise
½ tsp minced garlic
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp ground pepper
2 celery stalks diced
1 apple cored, diced
¼ cup red onion diced
6 cooked chicken breast sliced
¼ cup dried cranberries
¼ cup sliced dried apricots
¼ cup sliced almonds
12 lettuce leaves , Boston or Iceberg
Method:
- Mix ingredients together in a large bowl
- scoop ¼ cup of mixture onto lettuce and serve
